This kit is more then a lift, it will change your 4Runner’s ride quality from brake diving and body roll to a comfortable firmer ride using quality suspension components sourced using Bilstein 5100’s and ARB Old Man Emu coils. Pairing these parts together allows you to use a Bilstein 5100 and keep the cir-clip on the bottom so we get full up travel and down travel on the front shocks. This is an improved way of lifting your 4Runner as opposed to just using the 5100s and pre-loading a stock coil.
Install time is less than 4 hours without upper control arms and 6 hours with upper control arms.

Honestly the best price for this lift kit around! I wanted to lift my 2011 5th gen 4runner. but wanted to try and keep it on a budget. I was going to go with a lesser brand when i came across theses. This kit is at least $150+ cheaper than everywhere else i looked. The shipping was fast and within a week of purchasing i had them installed. I love the way it rides and even more how it looks. I went with the OME-884— 2″ lift standard coils for the front and OME-889— (Medium weight) for the rear. both were rated for 2″ but the front lifted slightly more than that. more like 2.5″. it left a slight factory rake which i wanted (because i lifted it 2″ all around evenly.)
word of advice DO NOT PRELOAD THE LIFT COILS!!! it makes the ride stupidly rough and jumpy… made that mistake and then switch the 5100s back to 0″ and the ride was a million times better.
I cannot recommend this kit enough. In every forum or facebook page i share this kit. best around. if you’re on the fence, dont be, just buy it!

This setup took most of the guessing out of the experience for me. The price ws very competitive, and the kit had everything I was looking for minus a Diff drop kit and Bump Stops.
I was able to add a nice amount of lift and leveling to my 5th Gen and I am not sure I could be happier without spending $1000 more. Ride did get rougher, but not substantially. With this kit, there was no need to preload the Springs. Lowest perch on the shock was used and the lift was exactly what I wanted.
Installation took 4 hours (With 4 experienced bodies), but I suggest allotting at least 8 hours.
Communication and follow-up with Yotamafia was excellent and I will suggest them to others.

This is great, easy, and affordable lift, one thing that everyone needs to be aware of is that you need to make sure you leave the 5100 shock at the “0” position because the life comes from the OME coils and not the Bilstein Shock. Do not set the shock at the 2.5” clip. It will make your 4Runner ride like a log wagon. I wish there would have been more direction like this for me, I had to learn the hard way.

Not many things sold these days are “ as advertised” I have to say, this lift is exactly as advertised. I matched the lift with a set of General Grabbers and now my 5th Gen 4 Runner is exactly the way I want it. Braking is much better, with less body roll and it looks great. Highly recommended.
