Bilstein 5100 Lift Kit (Up to 2.5") | 2003-2009 4Runner, 2007-2009 FJ Cruiser & 2003-2009 GX470

Bilstein 5100 struts and shocks paired with American Spring Company (ASC) lift coils. The coils make the lift, so the front 5100 circlip stays on the lowest perch. You keep full up-travel and down-travel, and you get a better ride than a stock coil with added preload.

• (2) Bilstein 5100 3-notch adjustable front struts
• (2) Bilstein 5100 rear shocks
• (2) ASC front coil springs (your choice below)
• (2) ASC rear coil springs (your choice below)

Front lift options

• 1.5" lift [ASC 5121]
• 2.5" lift at stock weight, 2" with added weight [ASC 5131]
• 2.5" lift with added front weight [ASC 5132]

Rear lift options (all models)

• 2" lift [ASC 5221]
• 2.5" lift at stock weight, 2" with added weight [ASC 5211]
• 2.5" lift with added rear weight [ASC 5222]

Recommended add-ons

• Strut assembly: front struts arrive assembled and torqued to spec. No spring compressor needed.
• Upper control arms: at 2.5" of lift, stock arms run out of caster adjustment and limit droop. Options include SPC, Old Man Emu, Dobinsons and Total Chaos.
• Front diff drop kit: corrects 4WD CV angles. Not required, but recommended.
• Extended brake lines and bump stops: keep slack at full droop and protect the shocks.

Install time

• About 5 hours
• About 6 hours with upper control arms

Please note

• Lift heights are averages. Final ride height depends on your vehicle, its load, and the condition of its suspension.
• Lift heights assume the front circlip is on the lowest perch. Do not raise the perch with lift coils installed. This can damage the strut and voids the manufacturer warranty.
• Kits ship unassembled unless you select assembly. Unassembled kits reuse your stock top hats and stem bushings/washers.
• 2WD lift heights can differ because the front end is lighter.
• GX470: Vehicles with factory rear air suspension need an air-to-coil conversion kit.
• ASC or OME coils are used, depending on availability.
