The original Dr KDSS front sway bar end adapters. Lifted KDSS rigs get a bad front bushing angle that kills bushings and can even cause metal-on-metal contact. These adapters correct that geometry while keeping the sway bar up high and out of harm's way — no drop spacers. Fits 2010+ 4Runner, GX460, GX470 and Prado 150 with factory KDSS.
Features
- Corrects front bushing angle — optimized for 2–3"+ of lift, where bind typically starts around 2"
- Keeps the sway bar high and protected from rocks and skids
- Frees the KDSS system to cycle correctly for full droop and better articulation
- Allows more travel when paired with longer-travel shocks
- Extends bushing life and helps prevent premature KDSS strut failure
- Makes bushing swaps and maintenance easier
- Slightly lightens sway bar rate for a more natural feel
- Creates a stronger floor jack point
- Nearly mandatory with extended or long-travel shocks
Design & Strength
- CNC-machined from 7075 billet aluminum — not 6061
- V2: 3 mounting holes for adjustability
- V3: same strength, adds GX470 compatibility (requires Dr KDSS Bushing Brackets and 2010+ KDSS bushings)
- Anodized black for corrosion protection
- Sold in pairs (driver + passenger)
What's Included
- (2) KDSS end adapters (driver and passenger)
- (2) M12 × 1.25 × 40mm flange bolts
- (2) M12 × 1.25 × 20mm flange bolts
- (2) M12 × 1.25 × 25mm cap bolts
Install Notes
- Designed for stock KDSS mounts on the lower control arms
- Factory bushing bracket bottom hooks must be cut off — or use Dr KDSS Front Sway Bar Bushing Brackets
- GX470: must install with Dr KDSS Bushing Brackets, otherwise the OEM bracket hooks and holes require modification
- Do not use with KDSS front drop spacers. Both push the sway bar forward and cause frame/skid interference — it's one or the other
- Easy install with hand tools
Notes
- Wide wheels (9"+) or large negative offsets may contact the bushing bracket at full lock. Confirm at least 0.60" of clearance from the OEM bushing bracket at full lock.
