Toyota trucks leave the factory with the U-bolt threads under the rear axle, pointing at the ground — the first thing to catch on a rock and the first thing to get damaged. The DuroBumps U-Bolt Flip Kit (DBFK01-885) for the 2005–2023 Tacoma flips the configuration: heavy-duty 9/16" diameter, 8.85"-long U-bolts saddle the axle tube with the threads pointing up, paired with a 3/8" thick steel flip plate that mounts the axle to the leaf pack from above and shields the threads. The 8.85" length suits taller leaf packs and lift blocks. Works with all DuroBumps rear bump stops.
