Lift a KDSS-equipped 4Runner or GX more than about 2" and the front sway bar bushings start to bind. These adjustable CNC-machined brackets correct the bushing angle so the bar slides and cycles smoothly — no bind, no premature bushing wear, and a smoother ride. Fits 2010+ 4Runner, GX460 and Prado 150 with KDSS; also fits the GX470 when paired with Dr KDSS Front Sway Bar End Adapters.

Features

  • Corrects front KDSS bushing angle caused by lifts
  • Eliminates sway bar bushing bind so the bar cycles freely
  • Adjustability the factory brackets never offered
  • Slotted mounting holes make installation and maintenance easier
  • Works with OEM or polyurethane bushings
  • CNC-machined high-strength steel, powder-coated
  • Sold in pairs

Compatibility

  • Designed to work with Dr KDSS Front Sway Bar End Adapters — no cutting or modification required
  • Using OEM brackets with adapters requires cutting the OEM hooks; these brackets eliminate that step
  • Running extended- or long-travel suspension with KDSS? The adapters add droop but can over-rotate the bushing angle — this bracket corrects it
  • Can also be used with KDSS drop spacers to fix bushing angle if you keep the sway bar low
  • Even stock, unlifted trucks benefit from easier alignment and installation
  • GX470 requires the Dr KDSS End Adapters

Install Notes

  • Bolt-on installation using factory hardware
  • Adjust bracket position to dial in your exact bushing angle
  • Torque to 75 ft-lbs with a generous amount of blue Loctite (or very little red) — regardless of what install videos show
  • OEM bushings are recommended for most owners who don't grease regularly
