One of the lightest, strongest track bars on the market for KDSS and non-KDSS Toyota and Lexus platforms. Machined from a solid 1-1/4" bar of 7075 billet aluminum with 7/8" Pro Bearing heims, it's fully adjustable to recenter your axle after a lift — at roughly 40% less weight than the factory bar. Built for people who actually use their rigs.

Available Sizes

  • 39" platform: 4th/5th Gen 4Runner, GX460/GX470, FJ Cruiser, Prado 150
  • 42" platform: 3rd Gen Tundra, 3rd Gen Sequoia, 4th Gen Tacoma, 6th Gen 4Runner, Land Cruiser 250, GX550, Land Cruiser 200 / LX570 (set to 41.5")

Features

  • Fully adjustable to recenter the axle after a lift
  • ~40% lighter than the OEM track bar
  • Strength comparable to top chromoly bars — without the weight
  • Upgraded 7/8" heims for improved articulation and durability
  • Designed to flex under load and return to true without permanent bending

Design & Materials

  • Machined from solid 7075 billet aluminum — not hollow tubing
  • 1.25" diameter (upgraded from 1-1/8")
  • 7/8" Pro Bearing chromoly heims (upgraded from 3/4")
  • Machined stainless steel misalignment spacers included
  • CNC-machined and anodized for corrosion resistance
  • Engraved Dr KDSS logo near the heim joint

Weight Comparison

  • OEM track bar: ~7 lbs
  • Typical chromoly track bar: ~8.5–9 lbs
  • Dr KDSS track bar: ~5.2 lbs

7075 aluminum is used in aerospace and race applications for its strength-to-weight ratio. It can flex 6–7% under load and return perfectly straight, handling repeated abuse without fatigue — and less unsprung weight means better suspension performance.

Install Notes

  • Install with the vehicle on the ground.
  • Remove the OEM track bar and slide the new bar into place.
  • Install the frame-side bolt first, then the axle side.
  • If the holes don't line up, place a hydraulic jack under one side of the axle and raise it to align the bar and bolt.
  • Torque to 125 ft-lbs.
  • Land Cruiser 200 / LX570: adjust the bar to 41.5" (or your exact required length) before install.

Notes

  • Blemished finishes have minor cosmetic imperfections only and are fully functional.
  • Slight tonal variation or "water marks" are normal when anodizing 7075 aluminum.
