Lift an 80 Series and you lose caster and gain anti-dive — unless you correct the geometry. The EimKeith Radius Arm Mounts (RAM) are weld-on brackets that relocate the frame end of the radius arms 50mm down and 25mm forward, returning caster and anti-dive to factory spec on a 50mm (~2") lift. On paper, the relocation is good for 3.45° of caster correction.

The 25mm forward shift moves the axle forward, which pays off twice: more firewall clearance for larger tires (the wheel returns to its factory arc path, so the tire sits closer to the firewall at full compression — expect some front fender trimming with very large sizes) and an improved approach angle.

  • Weld-on design with a reinforcing rib that runs up into the rear of the factory mount — more weld area, and everything ties together as a single structure
  • Kept deliberately slim so obstacles slide over the mount instead of hanging up on it
  • Doesn’t obscure the stock hole — if you change direction later, trim off the lower portion and you still have a reinforced factory mount

Install tips: use an old radius arm bushing as a spacer with the factory bolt and nut to hold the factory mount solid while tacking the RAM in place, then move the bushing down to the RAM to hold the ears parallel and coplanar with the factory mount’s inner walls for welding. These brackets are tricky to bend, so one side (typically the multi-bend outer) may sit slightly over 90° — tack the true right-angle side first, then open the other side up for bushing clearance.
