With years of experience and extensive product testing, we have pieced together the best bang for your buck suspension kit. This kit is more then a lift, it will change your 4Runner’s ride quality from brake diving and body roll to a comfortable firmer ride using quality suspension components sourced using Bilstein 5100’s and ARB Old Man Emu coils. Pairing these parts together allows you to use a Bilstein 5100 and keep the cir-clip on the bottom so we get full up travel and down travel on the front shocks. This is an improved way of lifting your 4Runner as opposed to just using the 5100s and pre-loading a stock coil.
Install time is less than 4 hours without upper control arms and 6 hours with upper control arms.
UPPER CONTROL ARM OPTIONS:
SPC: For those with lift kits or worn out upper control arms, SPC’s replacement for Toyota 4Runners is one of the more cost effective options on the market. Not only will these fix alignment issues, but also allow for more travel with aftermarket shocks.
OLD MAN EMU: The OME Upper Control Arm will provide an increase between +2.5 and +3.5 degrees of caster and up to 1.5 degrees of negative camber increase (figures based on an approximate 50-mm or 2-in lift)
DOBINSONS: Includes new ball joints (not assembled), OE style rubber frame bushings (installed), and washers
Has 3 degrees of caster built-in, no adjustability or settings required
Made from HSLA (High Strength Low Alloy) Steel, 5mm (0.2″) wall thickness, and powder-coated black

TOTAL CHAOS: HEIM/UNIBALL Lifting the front of a vehicle with a set of coilovers may be step one in gaining more off-road performance, however installing just an aftermarket shock can cause limitations without upgrading the Upper Control Arm too.
Adding 2-3” of lift on the vehicle will compromise your Toyota’s factory alignment specs from lost caster. Our UCA’s are designed to add 3 degrees of caster – offering better straight line tracking, as well as improved high speed stability and cornering. TC UCA’s are designed to provide 1” of added droop wheel travel when they are installed with a pair of factory replacement ”extended travel” coil over shocks.
TC upper arms add component durability and allow for individual parts to be replaced including heim joints and uniballs.

1st Gen Tundra Lift Kits
Great kit. Did it in one day about 6/7 hours. Easy to do just a pain to remove the old parts but wasn’t too bad.
Bought the kit with the 885/895 option. I had the front shocks come preassembled just to make life easier. In total the install took me 4 hours. Not a hard install at all. The back was much faster than the front. I would recommend having a second hand with you to help push the rear axle down to fit the springs, but its definitely something that can be done alone. Ride is fine and I have no aftermarket bumpers installed. The hardest part was removing the 14mm bolt off the rear control arm without a ratcheting box wrench. Use two jacks and jack stands and you’ll knock it out no problem. If your assembling the front shocks yourself make sure you set the snap ring at the 0 setting, the lift is from the bigger beefier ome springs. If you set it at a higher option you will get less travel in the spring off-road and have a stiffer ride.

I purchased this kit in the 886/896 configuration. 2009 4Runner Sport Edition 4.0 with XREAS.
Everything arrived nicely packaged and organized by Yota Mafia.
I installed the kit in one day including full XREAS delete. I assembled struts using the stock top-hats. The truck sits 100% level and rides better than stock. I am super happy and would recommend this to anyone looking to help a 4th gen 4Runner in need of a confidence boost.
