If you are looking for a suspension setup that is a notch above the Bilstein/OEM kits, then the Dobinsons lift kit is a great choice. Developed and tested in Australia, Dobinsons has been making suspension setups to handle some of the harshest terrain

Choose your front coil configuration
We recommend buying coils for the weight you currently have, many people will try and buy heavy coils thinking they are getting or want to get a bumper in the future. It will be a harsh ride for 12 months if you do not have any added weight.

Dobbinons offer two front shock configurations, regular length and extended 1″ which will give you additional 1″ of down travel but upper control arms are required with this configuration. If you can’t grab upper control arms at this time but still want to lift your 4runner and have a better ride its best to grab the 1st option as you can always upgrade later.

Dobinsons lift kits for the 5th Generation 4Runners are one of the best options to go with for a bang for your buck build. Because of their many years developing shocks, they have a kit that can handle your every need.
All of Dobinsons front shocks allow up to 2.5” of lift, while giving you the option to choose what style coil you need. Everything from stock weight to heavy duty weight for those of you running heavy aftermarket bumpers.
Dobinsons also gives the option to have stock length shock or extended shocks, for those of you looking for a little more articulation while off-roading.
The rear shocks allow up to 3” of lift, depending on what weight coil you go with.
While most companies don’t give you the option, Dobinsons allows you to choose a variety of colors for their shocks as well.
Dobinsons has a maintenance-free upper control arm ball joint that you are able to purchase with your lift kit. Due to lift kits preventing factory upper control arms to provide proper alignments, it’s highly recommend to purchase an aftermarket upper control arm with a lift kit.
As always, you can order your front shocks assembled to save you 1-3 hours of install time, and is highly recommended if you plan on installing the suspension on your own.
