The Bilstein Stage 1 Lift Kit is a nice quick way to get a lift out of your build while keeping costs in mind, and takes into account the fact that your vehicle may be stock or may have bumpers.
If you have a vehicle that is stock or closer to stock weight, and plan on keeping it that way for quite sometime, you’ll want to go with Option #1 which includes the OME 885 and 889 coils. This will keep you from having a harsh ride on pavement, but still being able to handle the rougher terrains off-road.
If your vehicle is modified with extra weight such as bumpers, skid plates, roof racks, etc, then you will want to go with Option #2 which includes the OME 887 and 898 coils. This will allow your vehicle to feel close to stock on the road, while smoother off-road.
YotaMafia also offers the ability to upgrade to even stiffer coils if you feel your vehicle needs something stiffer, but for most of you the above setups will work perfectly.
It’s important to note that when lifting a vehicle it’s hard to retain OEM alignment, and the addition of a upper control arm is highly recommended. With the Bilstein Stage 2 Lift Kit, you get everything above, plus an upper control arm to save your tires from improper wear and tear!
Yota Mafia also offers coil assembly to help speed up the install process by 1-3 hours, especially if you are doing this at home. It’s not only safer, but allows quicker install times.
