Morimoto Elite Low/High Beam Kit 2016 + Toyota Tacoma

When it comes to driving at night nothing is more important than being able to see. Whether it’s on the trail or on pavement there are many reasons to want your scene to be lit up. Unfortunately from the factory Toyota provides pretty weak and dull Halogen bulbs. Thankfully Morimoto noticed that and designed a set of HID’s and LED’s to make up for that loss.

For the low beams, Morimoto Elite HID’s are provided to light up everything in front of you. Because Toyota uses a projector style housing, LED bulbs aren’t nearly as good of a replacement due to the projection. HID’s on the other hand excel with the projectors and provide a flawless lighting beam.

Not to be confused with earlier style HID’s of the early 2000’s, there’s no fancy stuff needed with these HID’s. Everything is plug and play and takes no time to install. There’s no special wiring necessary to go to the battery etc.

For the high beams a set of 2 stroke LED bulbs are included. High beam bulbs on the Tacoma do not use a projector so HID’s are not needed. HID’s also require a warmup time where LED’s do not, which is another reason LED is to be used with the high beams.

Both of these sets of lights puts out an impressive amount of power and will leave you more than satisfied whether in the city, on a dark country road, or off pavement in the woods.
